Built for founders, freelancers, and growing companies

Most founders stitch bank exports, Stripe, and spreadsheets. Capitallytics Business Finance keeps books, KPIs, and board-ready views in one operating system.

Free users can create a business workspace, add revenue and expenses, keep basic books and see a basic dashboard. The Business plan unlocks forecasting, KPI intelligence, the Business AI CFO, integrations such as Stripe and Razorpay, and exports.

From daily cash to investor packs

Capture invoices and OpEx once. Business plan scenarios stress-test hiring and downturns. Investor and board reports export without rebuilding decks every month.

Pair Business Finance with the Personal workspace when you need household net worth beside company runway.

How the Business Workspace is organised

Money in covers invoices, estimates, recurring invoices, customers and receivables. Money out covers bills, recurring bills, vendors and payables. Banking imports statements into a review queue and reconciles cash. Ledger holds the chart of accounts and journals, Reports produces the statements, and Close runs a month-end checklist with exceptions and approval.

Plan holds the 12-month forecast, the 30/60/90-day cash forecast, variance analysis and the FP&A studio. Models holds the statements, valuation and project tools. AI CFO adds chat, a financial timeline, proposals you approve before they apply, alerts from a nightly rules run and a weekly brief. Every one of these reads the same posted records, so a figure means the same thing wherever you see it.

Getting useful numbers in the first week

Day one: create an account book and import two or three months of bank statements. Clear the review queue so those lines are posted. Next, add open customer invoices and unpaid vendor bills so receivables and payables are complete. By the end of the week, Home shows cash, bills due, overdue amounts and runway from your own records, and the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow statement are ready to read.

Sample data · a fictional product company, one month, figures in ₹

Example: why a profitable month produced little cash

Example only. The company invoiced ₹15,00,000 this month. During the month, money owed by customers rose by ₹3,00,000 and money owed to suppliers rose by ₹1,00,000.

Profit and loss, then operating cash flow (₹) (sample figures, not real data)
LineAmountNote
Revenue15,00,000Invoiced this month
Cost of goods sold4,50,000Direct costs
Gross profit10,50,000Gross margin 70.0%
Operating expenses8,10,000Salaries, rent, software
Net income2,40,000Revenue − all expenses
Increase in receivables−3,00,000Sales not yet collected
Increase in payables+1,00,000Costs not yet paid
Operating cash flow40,000Net income + working-capital change
  1. Gross profit is ₹15,00,000 − ₹4,50,000 = ₹10,50,000, a gross margin of 10,50,000 ÷ 15,00,000 = 70.0%.
  2. Net income is ₹10,50,000 − ₹8,10,000 = ₹2,40,000.
  3. Working capital absorbed ₹3,00,000 − ₹1,00,000 = ₹2,00,000, so operating cash flow is ₹2,40,000 − ₹2,00,000 = ₹40,000.

The month was profitable, but customers paying later turned ₹2,40,000 of profit into ₹40,000 of cash. Receivables aging and the cash forecast show which invoices to chase.
