Refund Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026. How refund requests for paid plans are handled.

1. Summary

Personal Pro and Business payments are charged in INR through Razorpay for the billing period you choose on the pricing page. Payments are not automatically refundable. New accounts get Pro features free for 14 days, no card needed, so you can check a plan fits before you pay. If a plan is not the right fit, or something went wrong with a payment, you can ask us for a goodwill refund review.

2. Requesting a goodwill refund review

Each request is reviewed case by case. A review is not a guarantee of a refund, and we will reply with the outcome by email.

3. Before you pay: the free trial and Free

Every new account starts with a 14-day trial of Business features. No card is needed to start it, and nothing is charged when it ends: if you do not choose a plan, the account moves to Free. Your records stay in the account and remain exportable; only the paid features pause. Because you can try the paid features without paying, most plan-fit questions can be answered before any money changes hands.

4. How billing works

  • Personal Pro is ₹199 a month and Business is ₹1,499 a month. Longer billing periods are paid up front at a discount (yearly saves 40%). The current prices are always on the pricing page.
  • A one-time payment buys access for the billing period you chose. It does not renew by itself.
  • If you turn on auto-pay, a card is saved with Razorpay and the plan renews monthly. You can cancel auto-pay at any time from Billing in your account; cancelling stops future renewals.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment status, not your card number.

5. Example: what a review looks at

A fictional example, to show how the dates fit together. Asha signs up on 1 October and the 14-day trial runs until 15 October. On 20 October she buys Business for a year (₹10,793 at today's price). On 22 October she realises she only needed the personal tools and writes in with her receipt.

The review looks at the payment and the plan, how the account has been used since the payment, and whether something went wrong on our side (for example, a duplicate charge or a feature that did not work as described). The outcome is decided case by case and sent by email. This example illustrates the process; it is not a promise of a particular outcome.

6. Payment problems

  • Charged twice for the same plan: write to us with both Razorpay payment IDs.
  • Money debited but the plan did not activate: send the Razorpay payment ID. We check the payment status with Razorpay and reply with what we found and what happens next.
  • Chargebacks: please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — it is usually faster. Chargebacks or fraudulent payments may result in suspension of paid access, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

When a refund is approved, it is issued through Razorpay to the payment method used for the original payment. Your bank or card issuer decides how long it takes to appear on your statement.

7. Access and billing period

Paid plan access is tied to your account for the billing period you paid for. Your records are never deleted because a plan ends: an account without a paid plan continues on Free.
